School Vision & Hearing Screening Program

Good vision and hearing are crucial for academic success. EE believes that early identification and intervention for vision deficits and hearing loss are the key to helping these children and preventing long term academic struggles.

Arizona law mandates hearing screening and vision screening for designated students from preschool through high school. Hearing and Vision Screening Supervisors must have a current certificate through the Arizona Department of Health Services as required by state law. EE follows the Hearing and Vision Screening and Referral Criteria of the Arizona Department of Health Services. EE can help schools provide these screenings at a reduced cost to the school by providing multiple screening stations and utilizing volunteer parents in the screening program.

EE also provides scholarships for vision exams and glasses at selected businesses for students with financial needs.
